How work orders show up in the field
Quotes and work orders are mostly created and managed by your admin in the office. As a tech, you see them in three places:
- Today's route has a work-orders panel that lists any orders scheduled for the day.
- Specific stops can have a work order attached by the planner — these show on the stop card and inside the Log visit form.
- More → Quotes (when available) opens the full list so you can search and check status.
Complete a work order on a visit
Inside Log visit, scroll to the work-order section. For each line item, tick it complete as you finish the work. If you only finished part of a multi-day order, save what you did — your admin handles the rest from the office.
Add a work order on the fly
Discovered a problem on site? Tap Add work order from the visit screen. You can capture a quick description and any line items, then the office finishes the formal quote and sends it to the customer. Less back-and-forth, more revenue captured.
If a customer asks about an approval link
Customers approve quotes and pay deposits through email links that your office sends — you don't need to do anything special on your end. If they say the link doesn't work, tell them to check spam, and ping your admin to resend.
